RYAN TAYLOR has revealed that Newcastle United’s mammoth home crowds are living proof that he made the right decision to join the Magpies back in January – despite the trials and tribulations at St James’s Park.
And even though United go into the game with Doncaster Rovers on the back of defeat at little Scunthorpe United, they are already anticipating an incredible 42,000 fans and counting on Saturday.
Taylor – who switched to Tyneside in January in a swap deal for Charles N’Zogbia – has been one of United’s steady performers this season, and the set-piece specialist has weighed in with two goals and three assists in 12 games.
And with United hoping they can fire themselves back to the top of the table with three points against Rovers, Taylor has confessed he would not swap places with N’Zogbia – and feels that the possibility of returning to the Premier League at the first attempt is alive and kicking.
