“We’ve got a good squad – I don’t feel that we need to add too much to that squad. They’ve got to be the right players.”
BOLTON manager Gary Megson admits he was wrong to go public on stating there was dressing-room unrest at the club.
Former Newcastle midfielder Megson insists the dissent is “not a huge problem” as he attempts to lift his side out of the Barclays Premier League relegation zone.
He claimed after the derby defeat by Blackburn last weekend that certain players were trying to destabilise the club.
However, ahead of the match against Fulham at Craven Cottage tomorrow, Megson was in reflective mood.
He said: “I made a mistake in highlighting the situation because while it is still there and still apparent, it is not a huge problem.
“Maybe I should not be as honest with you as I have been. You say these things then other people pick up on it and make a bigger deal out of what I was trying to say.
“I can understand people being unhappy if they are not in the team. When you have squad of 20-odd players and can only play 11, you are going to have the hump a little bit.
“If you take Chelsea, they may be top of the division but one or two will have a face on as they are not playing.”
