JONAS GUTIERREZ has promised Toon fans there will be a reaction to the loss at lowly Scunthorpe United when Newcastle United take on Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.
United fans were left shell-shocked and fighting amongst themselves in the away section at Glanford Park as the Magpies slipped to an embarrassing defeat against the Iron.
The defeat means that caretaker boss Chris Hughton has taken just two points from a possible 12 and that Newcastle will check out of October without a win should they fail to see off Donny at Gallowgate.
Jonas was one of the few senior stars that was prepared to explain the loss to distraught United fans on a night when the players’ committee left the tiny North Lincolnshire ground tight-lipped.
