CHRIS HUGHTON has backed Danny Simpson to take his chance with Newcastle United as he prepares to make his first Toon appearance since becoming a permanent signing.
Simpson has been out with an ankle problem but is due to be back in the line-up against Cardiff City tonight.
After a long drawn -out transfer last month, Simpson is finally a black-and- white, and Hughton says all parties are delighted about the move.
Hughton told the Chronicle: “He can focus on his future and he earned his right to be here.
