Suzuki is offering some remarkable deals on new cars under the scrappage scheme, with discounts of up to £4,000 on offer.
This is for the Grand Vitara, which in 1.9 DDiS five-door guise becomes available for just £13,500 with the benefit of three years' free finance.

Towards the top of the Suzuki range, The Grand Vitara 1.9 DDiS five-door is now available for just £13,500 under the scrappage scheme together with the three years' free finance currently on offer, representing a saving of £4,000 on the list price.
The stylish and versatile compact SUV has a combined fuel consumption of 39mpg and emissions of 191g/km, which is comparatively low for this type of vehicle.
Other scrap-eligible models in the range include the Swift supermini, which is available from £6,750 as an outright purchase or for a down payment of £625 with free finance payable over two years.
Those in search of more space but still within a compact and clean footprint can opt for an SX4 1.6 GL, which is available from just £8,990, or with a 50% deposit payable over two years under the interest-free finance scheme.
Suzuki sales and marketing director David Seward, says: "Suzuki is pleased to participate in the scheme and judging by the unprecedented number of enquiries we are confident that we are offering the right cars at the right time."
Suzuki revised its Grand Vitara range to give it a sharper appearance and to make it more refined in the face of intense competition.
On the outside there is a revised front end treatment and new door mirrors with integrated turn indicators.
Inside there are chrome and wood-effect inlays together with improvements to the design and operation of some of the dashboard controls including a new multi-information display and revised air conditioning control panel.
The new Grand Vitara 2.4-litre is available in three and five-door body styles, with the 166bhp petrol unit mated to a five-speed manual transmission, generating a CO2 figure of 208g/km for the five-door model and 205g/km for three-door versions.
Suzuki says that electronic stability programme is to be introduced to all models and is now fitted to Grand Vitaras.
The 2.4-litre model has a high standard specification including an in-dash 6CD player with MP3 compatibility, rear privacy glass and 17-inch wheels. Five-door models additionally get leather seats with front seat heating, cruise control, 18-inch wheels and an electrically-operated glass sun-roof.
Prices are £14,500 for 2.4-litre three-door manual models and £17,500 for the five-door manual.
