A NEW romantic comedy called 27 Dresses tells the story of Jane, played by Knocked Up star Katherine Heigl, who looks destined to be a perennial bridesmaid. KATHRYN ARMSTRONG, pictured right, leafs back through her own bridesmaid back-catalogue. She may not have worked her way through 27 dresses as a bridesmaid, but she did play second fiddle seven times before finally landing the starring role with husband Allan Boughey in September 1991. They are still happily married with two boys, Ned and Hugo, and live in Yarm, Teesside. more
