How do you start your day? I know how easy it is to get straight out of bed and step right onto the hamster wheel, with barely enough time to grab a piece of toast and a quick cup of tea before you rush headlong into the day.
The way in which you start your day sets you up for what’s ahead . . . and starting it well can make all the difference.
I appreciate that if you have young children this tip might be a bit of a stretch, but see if there’s still a way to carve out some “me” time and get your day off to a great start after they have been attended to.

V Go out for a gentle stroll, listen to the bird song and take the time to rejoice in the things around you
V Spend 15 minutes reading an inspirational book or listening to an inspirational recording
V Go to the gym or do some high-energy, aerobic exercise
V Spend 10 minutes doing absolutely nothing and allow yourself to daydream
