A NEW branch of Rook Matthews Sayer has opened in Whitley Bay signalling the estate agency’s growing confidence in the property market.
Clive Rook, managing director of Rook Matthews Sayer, said: “Whitley Bay is the centre of a huge and important residential catchment area within our region, where Rook Matthews Sayer were not represented.
“The property market has improved dramatically from its low point and we are confident that activity levels will improve.”
A love of selling houses and living at the coast is a belief shared by the nine staff who work in Rook Matthews Sayers’ new ‘coastal living’ branch in Whitley Bay.
The team is led by director Janet Walker, branch manager Jan Rix and valuation manager Marie Cochrane who all live in Whitley Bay and share 63 years of estate agency experience.
The Whitley Bay branch is on Park View and is the 17th branch in a network throughout Tyneside and Northumberland. The main areas the branch will cover are Whitley Bay, Tynemouth, Cullercoats, Monkseaton and North Shields.
