Best Small Builder JUDGING this category proved particularly challenging for the 21st Century Living Awards judges who saw a range of quality smaller builders concerned to provide a quality, often bespoke service. The judges made the award to Stone Homes for their enthusiasm and impressive attention to detail and concern for the quality of build and the lifestyle of future purchasers. The company was concerned to develop properties which fitted in well into their environment and were created by skilled craftsmen using quality products. The developer was concerned to consult with potential buyers at all possible stages. It signifies recognition of the outstanding effort our entire team has given throughout the year. “Creating spectacular homes involves attention to detail on every level, internally and externally, and our skilled craftsmen certainly know how to come up with the goods. To achieve this seal of approval is invaluable.” Runners up Dere Street Homes: For developments including The Paddock, Witton-le-Wear. DEVELOPERS Dere Street were concerned about quality, style, appearance and useability of the properties they built. And the awards judges praised their commitment. The Paddock was an attractive development which fitted in well into a rural setting. The homes were built to a high specification, with a clear layout and good space. Wylde Homes: For developments including Smugglers Cove, The Haven, Beadnell. WYLDE Homes is a well established company with a good reputation. The judges praised the attention to detail and innovative design. Smugglers Cove was a small stone-built development with a good external appearance, with a rather different design developed to a high quality with good external and internal specification. |
