Night work is normal for staff at 21 Degrees

Apr 27 2007

By The Journal

One of Sunderland-based 21 Degrees' highest profile customers is Harrods.

For four months, its engineers worked at night to install air conditioning with the usual proviso that no sign of the work could be visible when the store opened. Director Steve Redhead said: "Night working is actually quite common for us and normal procedure with all the work we do for banks and building societies."

The firm also designed and installed energy-

efficient air conditioning and ventilation to meet the exacting requirements of the American Veterinary Science organisation, Idexx, at their new laboratories at Wetherby in North Yorkshire.
