Durham County Cricket Club at Chester-le-Street is the ideal venue to host your business meetings. Its conference facilities are second to none and are set in attractive surroundings ideal to host your business meetings, seminars, training courses or product launches.

The cricket club is also conveniently located just off the A1(M) junction 63 midway between Durham and Newcastle.

The facilities at the Ropery Lane club have stunning views across the cricket ground and onwards over to Lumley Castle and, for your convenience, free parking and a choice of three air-conditioned rooms.

The rooms vary in size, two of which can accommodate 60 delegates each and the other up to 100 delegates, depending on layout. We set the rooms up to suit your exact requirements - whether it be boardroom, theatre style or your own.

Smaller functions are also catered for, adapting the room layout to suit. To date the cricket club has catered for numbers from two to 120.

* Cabaret: Ideal layout for conferences and presentations or even team-building workshops.

* Interview: Face to face, combine the privacy of your own space with the professionalism of a front-line support team who will welcome your candidates for you.

Other office equipment / facilities are also available such as additional flipcharts, OHP, printing / photocopying, laptop, DVD, video, TV, projector, fax, breakout rooms, external seating area, dedicated coordinator, on site IT support and for your important clients full chauffeur services.

There is also an in-house translator fully qualified in British sign language (stage one) that can facilitate at your meetings.

In addition, all of your catering requirements can be met from a breakfast reception and buffet lunch through to cream tea and evening meal.
