One of the leading suppliers to hotels and conference venues in the North-East has announced a confidence-boosting commitment to new audio visual technology. Having been established in the North-East for over 25 years, with a key base at Gateshead for the last four years, Saville is providing the AV facilities for many of the region's bigger events and conferences. Recently, the Saville Gateshead team supplied the AV facilities for One NorthEast's Innovation Awards Dinner at the Newcastle Gateshead Hilton. The team provided all the AV and technical support for the event, which consisted of an extensive range of colour changing LED battens and moving lights to enhance the high gloss white backdrop. Saville also installed their new stock of City Colours outside the hotel with moving gobo effects around the entrance to the venue to greet the guests on arrival. In recent months Saville provided a full support service, including Mediasite conference recording for the Newcastle Universities Age Action event at The Sage Gateshead, plus similar facilities at the Nato Infosec Symposium at the Shape headquarters in Belgium. The company also supplied an interactive audience voting system for delegates at the Annual International Neonatal Conference for South Tees NHS Trust. The North-East team has provided the facilities for the RTS North-East Awards each year since 1988 and are proud to continue to support all of the high profile events for the North-East Chamber of Commerce and the North East Economic Forum. Saville Audio Visual has invested over £1m in new hire equipment for its AV rental division. With a unique nationwide network of regional centres, the company's stock of audio visual rental equipment is one of the largest and most comprehensive in the UK. This has now been augmented by new audience voting systems, revolutionary Mediasite conference recording systems, professional projectors and plasma-wall packages, plus state-of-the-art audio and lighting products. Significant among these is a range of new high-powered City Colours architectural floodlights, able to illuminate building exteriors in dramatic changing colours and moving light effects - a feature guaranteed to enhance the impact of any evening event. Regional hire manager for Saville in the North-East, Sara McKenzie said: "The conference industry has seen continued growth in the North-East in the last few years, securing major events that are coming to the area. "With the investment Saville has made in the very latest technology, we can help venues to win a share of the increasing volume of business conference bookings coming to the North-East." In the past seven years, Saville has been honoured by 20 national awards including AV Rental Company of the Year four times plus Best Conference Equipment Supplier for three years running at the Meeting and Incentive Travel Industry Awards.
