A CAR workshop is giving James Bond enthusiasts the chance to indulge their passion with the launch of a new range of Aston Martin prints. The Aston Martin Workshop, in County Durham, will sell the framed and unframed prints on its new website – www.astonart.com The site will offer prints and atmospheric shots of the car for art collectors and classic car fans, taken by local photographer Tim Wallace. Aston Workshop owner Bob Fountain said: “We are really excited about adding another service to our range and I think these prints will make great high quality presents for someone who appreciates the unique beauty of Aston Martins. Almost all of the shots have been taken in Beamish at the Aston Workshop and we have plans over the next few months to continue to work with some featured local landmarks. “I’m looking forward to the launch of astonart.com and to taking the Aston Art project on to the next stage.” Mr Fountain established the workshop in 1988, inspired by a personal interest in the restoration of the cars. The business has restored cars that have received prizes in the US, Switzerland, Hong Kong and Holland. It is the only centre in the UK to offer car sales alongside a paint and body centre for the classic model. Prices for the new range of prints start at £60. They are available at www.astonart.com |
