TOP North band Maximo Park are offering fans the chance to win a magical mystery bus tour of their favourite city ahead of their homecoming gig. The five rockers take to the stage at Newcastle Metro Radio Arena on Saturday December 15 to showcase their second album Earthly Pleasures before their adoring home fans. But hours before the jam-packed gig a lucky few will be taking a tour of Newcastle in a trip inspired by the bus journey featured in the video for the band’s new single Karaoke Plays. The video shows young clubbers heading home on a fairy light-festooned double decker after a night on the Toon. Story continues ADVERTISEMENT And the Newcastle-based band — singer Paul Smith, Tom English on drums, guitarist Duncan Lloyd, bass player Archis Tiku and keyboard player Lukas Wooller — have enlisted the bus and driver from the video to steer fans round the sights.
