Newcastle became Tinsel Toon last night as the stars came out for the world premiere of School For Seduction.
Fans queued outside the Odeon in Newcastle to watch Hollywood golden couple Kelly Brook and Billy Zane walk the red carpet for the screening of the film, which is set on Tyneside.
And afterwards the pair mingled with co-stars and guests until the early hours at a VIP party at Beyond Bar in The Gate.
Kelly dazzled the crowds in a full-length pink gown by designer Elie Saab, much to the joy of Titanic boyfriend Zane.
"She looks amazing," he said at the after-show party. "Kelly is stunning anyway, the most beautiful woman you could meet. And tonight she is shining like a star, simply amazing."
The couple were joined by School For Seduction co-stars Neil Stuke, Margi Clarke, Tim Healy, Daymon Britton and Gateshead's Jessica Johnson, in her first film role.
"I was so nervous walking up the red carpet," said Jessica, whose proud mum Elaine Sullivan was also at the premiere.
"I got out of the limousine and just took my hair stylist Neville's hand and told him to hold me tight. It was nerve-racking, but wonderful. I just wanted to get into the cinema as quickly as I could with all those flashes going off. It was a first for me."
Jessica, who plays a woman looking for love, wore a prom-style dusky pink number from Sisters in Eldon Garden. She laughed: "I think it is wonderful."
Mum Elaine, added: "She was marvellous in the film. I thought it was wonderful. I'm so happy for her."
Footballer Paul Gascoigne was the first big name to arrive at the premiere.
Margi Clarke did a dance up the red carpet, dressed in a sleek grey dress, while carrying a packet of menthol cigarettes.
Robson Green's nephew Daymon Britton, who plays Jessica's love interest and has a nude scene in the movie, arrived fully-clothed with wife Donna.
"He looks good," Donna smiled after the screening. "Nice body."
Daymon laughed: "You know, I am really an Adonis but had to let my body go for the part. It's strange seeing yourself naked on the big screen, it has to be said."
Cocktails were flowing at the after-premiere party and Billy Zane turned photographer for the night as he snapped myself and Kelly at midnight.
"I think the film will do really well in North America," said Billy.
School For Seduction, which revolves around the humdrum lives of four Newcastle women who are transformed by the arrival of Italian femme fatale Sophia Rosselini (Brook) and her School for Seduction, opens in cinemas on Friday.
