Trott unfazed by 'home' hostility

South Africa may as well stop any attempts to put their former countryman Jonathan Trott off his game - because when he is batting he is oblivious to any opposition remarks.
England's new batting find is delighted to have marked his first Test match in his native country with a defiant 69 to help save England in the series opener at Centurion.
He said: "I was just concentrating on what the two of us had to do. I'm sure they were (chatting) - but I didn't really pay too much attention to it."
Trott shared a crucial second-innings partnership of 145 with his fellow South Africa-born England batsman Kevin Pietersen on Sunday.
The Trott-Pietersen stand ended with the latter being run out by the length of the pitch after he set off and kept going for an impossible single.
Trott, who barely took a stride out of his crease at the non-striker's end, is hoping he and Pietersen will soon be back in the middle together.
Recalling the run-out, Trott explained the pair have agreed it was just 'one of those things'.
"I said to Kev 'Sorry, it was a misunderstanding'. He said 'no problem' - and we look forward to batting again together in the future.
"We battled really hard on a pretty slow, up-and-down wicket. He played the way everyone knows he can, and for me it was good to help to save the game for England.
"I enjoyed batting with him, and we seem to have a good relationship in the middle and seem to feed off each other and keep each other going and motivated."
