Leinster brush aside Scarlets

Leinster kept pace with chief rivals London Irish at the top of Pool Six as they warmed up a chilly RDS with a seven-try 39-7 dismissal of the Scarlets.
The reigning Heineken Cup champions made it a blue Christmas for the depleted Scarlets as Rob Kearney, Gordon D'Arcy and Brian O'Driscoll grabbed two tries each.
England star Delon Armitage made a try-scoring return from shoulder surgery as London Irish completed another demolition job of French strugglers Brive with a 34-13 victory.
Armitage's searing individual effort in the last minute earned Irish the vital four-try bonus point that keeps them on top of Heineken Cup Pool Six. Tom Homer, Seilala Mapasua and Elvis Seveali'i also crossed.
Ospreys made it back-to-back bonus-point victories over Viadana as they climbed to the top of Pool 3 with a 45-19 win.
