Bilton Hall's top senior prospect Sean Moore won the best boxer award at the club's last show of the season at the Temple Park Leisure Centre in South Shields after a terrific win over Marco Marsden.
Marsden started well and appeared to have the measure of Moore with crisp left jabs.
Hoever, at the start of the third round Moore measured his distance and scored a knockdown with a crushing overhand right, putting Marsden down for an eight count.
The Newcastle boxer fought back but Moore showed his experience of 33 bouts by knocking him down again for the referee to intervene and stop the contest in his favour.
Reece Brooks of the host Jarrow club gained sweet revenge over Lee Hardman from Brambles Farm in Middlesbrough.
