GATESHEAD Fell Juniors Under-Eights are kicking on in style – with success in their first season as a competitive team.
The side (pictured above) recently won their first trophy at the Redheugh Boys Club 50th Anniversary Tournament.
They followed that with victory at the Wigginton Tournament in York, beating off strong opposition from Cleveland and North Yorkshire teams.
Not to be outdone, the club’s under-15s (above, right) completed a league and cup double, winning the Pin Point Recruitment NABC League Division Two title and the Under-15 Subsidiary Cup.
It was the third successive season Fell have been crowned league champions – their previous glories being in the Gateshead Apollo Doors League – and each time they never lost a game!
