NEW HARTLEY started the new season with a bang scoring a 7-1 victory at Sunderland RCA.
On target were Jamie Thompson (3), Ross Thompson, Antonio Mango, Sean Scantlebury and Daniel Bramley, with Peter Deary replying for RCA.
Hartley followed that up with a 4-3 home win against Newcastle East End.
Daniel Bramley, with a brace, Lee Mason and James Thompson found the net with Wayne Stephenson, Carl Begbie and Mark Waite scoring for East End.
Ryhope CW recorded a hard-fought 2-1 win over Chester-le-Street thanks to strikes from Paul Carr and Anthony Rogerson.

They then travelled to Sunderland RCA and recorded an 8-2 success.
Walker Central came out on top 4-3 away to Newcastle East End but then lost at home 3-2 to Gateshead Redheugh.
Gateshead Leam Rangers got their first season in the league off to a winning start when defeated Crookhall Pitmen 4-1 win.
Shaun Nicholson, David Bramley, Adam Thompson and Dale Gibson did the damage, Michael Wass replying for the home team.
