ENTRIES are being encouraged for the North-East Regional Triathlon Championships at Druridge Bay Country Park.
The championships will open on September 15 with a children’s duathlon, with an adult relay event will follow.
The standard distance triathlon will be held the following day, with a 1,500m swim in Ladyburn Lake, the 40km cycle – a lap circuit on closed roads – and a 10km run entailing three laps around the lake.
