DANNY WILSON admits confidence is being affected among his players.
Wilson’s side are looking at an end-of-season scrap to stay in the division they only entered last summer.
“History tells you that if someone plays well last season, it does not mean it will continue,” admitted the Pools chief.
“They have got to be on top of their game all the time.
“Maybe one or two changes in positions might just help us out a bit though.

“I do feel that one or two players are lacking that bit of confidence. When they get criticism it doesn’t help.
“Some of the young lads have never been in this situation before.
“Sometimes they need to be left out . . . but only if we can afford to leave them out, which is often the biggest problem.”
Wilson is believed to be looking to strengthen his squad in the next week with emergency loan signings.
